Senior Manager S/4 HANA Global Process (M/F/D) Full-time

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:




The SAP S/4 HANA program aims to equip adidas with a future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with built-in intelligent technologies, including data driven AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. As part of the transformation program, there will be five workstreams within the overall Manage Business Domain area of Finance. The 18-24 month transformation program will orchestrate and drive the organization towards the design & implementation of the new ERP system.




The Senior Manager S4 HANA is responsible for defining the end-to-end process within the defined scope.




Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:




  • Define the end to end finance processes, with specific focus within the Managed Business Domain on Internal Controls

  • Contribute to the overall S/4 HANA roadmap

  • ?Think Company? and focus on driving full standardization

  • Drive S/4 workstream or sub-project with the respective profound process and technical knowledge within the boundaries of time, cost & quality, focusing on the expectations, implement results and ensure sustainability of solution.

  • Provide comprehensive expertise for operational processes or (primary) data related queries with your expert knowledge

  • Identify & understand the current pain points in SAP; define improvement potential and solutions through variance analysis and effective usage of data. Create transparency on priorities and facilitate recommendations for fact-based decisions on future processes

  • Ensure standardized data management processes and drive data quality improvement actions

  • Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present derived results, recommendations, and solutions

  • Manage compliance and global process guidance






Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:




  • Experience in risk management and existing Internal Controls framework

  • In depth understanding of Financial and GBS processes & data; and with solid accounting knowledge

  • Specific functional knowledge of the area as needed ( e.g Treasury, Tax)

  • Understanding of the consumer goods industry

  • Interested in Product Led way of working

  • Ability to apply continuous process improvement concepts and tools; experience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality, process review and compliance

  • Experience of digital transformation including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Willingness to develop S4/Hana Knowledge

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically, think out of the box mentality

  • Excellent analytical mindset

  • Implicit drive for standardization and (internal) consumer obsession

  • Result orientation and pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end with a global mindset

  • Familiarity with project management, strong planning and organization skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures

  • Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines

  • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required

  • If working outside from Herzo, willingness to be flexible with Germany working hours






Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:




  • Degree in Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combinations of educations

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in finance functions and process management or process improvement

  • Proven experience with process redesigning; Internal Controls
