Our company in Portugal is looking for a motivated and well-organized Field Technology Systems Expert, specialist on ruminant species (Dairy and Beef) to support the Food Production Business Unit.

The main roles of the positions are:

• 
  Create in Portugal a new market category connecting technology & health

• 
  Prevention and Health for farm efficiency - Improve performance and animal wellbeing

• 
  Connect Animal Health and people with a technological answer to fill the request of healthy animals and healthier food for humans

• 
  Provide sales and technical assistance

• 
  Customer negotiation

• 
  Provide ongoing support in the management of Hardware and Software equipment supplied to the final customer

• 
  Business Development, search of new business opportunities, training and updating the Field Force, analyzing competitor products.

• 
  Leverage the Corporate biopharma portfolio - One Health approach with Medicines and Technology

• 
  Collaborate with marketing, guaranteeing the correct product placement;

• 
  Interface with headquarters with the participation in internal and international briefings, in order to share information.

• 
  Participating in conferences, even as speaker and participate/lead meetings organized by our company with veterinarians, farmers and other stakeholders of the protein chain production, with the objective to increase the digital and technological knowledge and awareness about the monitorization of ruminant species.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

• 
  College education

• 
  Degree or Master in Veterinary Medicine, Zootechnic Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferential);

• 
  Good Knowledge and comfortable with the Ruminant market;

• 
  Correct use of the native language (Portuguese);

• 
  Understanding and fluency in English language;

• 
  Drivers License level B

• 
  Regulation Knowledge ? Portuguese legislation;

• 
  Digital mindset

• 
  One Health mindset

• 
  Market assessment - Food Chain value Knowledge

• 
  IT skills (preferential);
