Job Description

The role is of main support on the overall operation for provisioning of the Hotel Food & Beverage, Equipment, Uniforms, Gift Shop, among other commodities, assuring continuous flow of products to the fleet.

Main Responsabilities:

• 
  Issuing orders and follow up with suppliers as per Ship?s requests.
• 
  Coordination of transportation with freight forwarders based on loading schedules.
• 
  Loading preparation prior the Provision day: informing the ship of goods to be loaded, possible non-deliveries or substitutes, total volume to be loaded, etc.
• 
  Reassures items are being sourced as per purchasing agreements.
• 
  Follow up on loading issues after the receiving of the goods onboard with vendors and ships, obtaining the corresponding adjustments or granting the supply of backorders.
• 
  Support on vendor RFQs researching on possible new suppliers.
• 
  Assisting and maintaining MXP database.
• 
  Assistance to the Purchasing Manager on setting the strategy for the department and in any other task in order to run the operation smoothly.

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor?s degree trade related subjects
• 
  1 year experience minimum
• 
  High level of English language is mandatory.
• 
  MXP ERP system for cruise lines industry (a plus)
• 
  Prior experience in Procurement desired.
• 
  Knowledge on marine operations and customs operations.
• 
  Manages and controls situations under high pressure.
• 
  Able to prioritize different tasks.
• 
  Good level of communication throughout the corporation.
• 
  Hands on approach
