Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

• 
  Responsibility for testing of hydraulic systems and components including appliance and interface with the system;
• 
  Specification of heat pump requirements with the background of the entire heating and domestic water system;
• 
  Building of test fixtures and test setups;
• 
  Analyze test data and status of heat pump operation;
• 
  Create test plans, execute and document development tests;
• 
  Issue product technical documentation (reports, procedures);
• 
  Design, document and support implementation of functional test procedures for mass production;
• 
  Development of new technical concepts and solutions for heat pumps;
• 
  Development of innovative functions based on heat pump components and systems;
• 
  Validation of hydraulic and heat pump components, systems and accessories, including:
  • 
    Review and understand technical specification for the components;
  • 
    Analyze customer, product and safety requirements to derive technical concepts;
  • 
    Issue product technical documentation, for example, development reports;
• 
  Quality improvement and optimization/maintenance of existing heat pump products range;
• 
  Cost reduction of existing appliance platforms based on component selection.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• 
  Master of Science - Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineer or equivalent;
• 
  Able to understand complex system development;
• 
  Knowledge in testing specification and fixtures;
• 
  Knowledge in pyschrometry, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and refrigeration;
• 
  Refrigeration and/or Hydraulic professional background is a benefit;
• 
  Knowledge in system simulation with preferred background in Matlab Simulink;
• 
  Familiarity with Product Development tools (FMEA, DFMA, FAM) is valued;
• 
  Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote);
• 
  Project experience in product development;
• 
  Problem solving mindset;
• 
  Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions in a structured way;
• 
  Results oriented and pro-active attitude;
• 
  Ability to work in a team environment;
• 
  Good communication skills;
• 
  Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
• 
  Willingness to travel and to work in an international environment.
