Field Service Technician (m/f)

The Job

Reporting to the Head of Iberica Sales & Services and based in Lisbon, your main tasks are to deal with installation and commissioning of systems, machinery and associated spare parts and wear material components, perform technical evaluations and analyse equipment and machine component failures and promote products and services to customers. Your diversified performance includes:

• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services;
• Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business;
• Follows established guidelines to promote and sell the organization's products and services;
• Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization;
• Follow up quality issues / concerns;
• Reading precision measuring equipment;
• Develops and maintains external relationship in own area in accordance with the team objectives;
• Responsible for producing and managing documentation at the job site for Field Service Reports;
• International cooperation & communication.

The Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is preferred (it is also accepted other training since in the field of the job and the required experience);
• Experience in similar jobs (2/3 years as minimum), as in field service equipment repairs and process machinery, preferential in mining market;
• Knowledge and experience with CRM;
• Fluent in oral and written English (mandatory) and knowledge in Spanish (preferential);
• Based in Lisbon with availability to travel often nationally and internationally;
• Strong team and cooperative spirit, communication and listen skills, goal orientation, work under pressure, open mind and focus on the best solutions.
