Job Overview and Responsibilities


As Global Learning Associate, you will be part of the SBS HR Service Line. Within the Global Shared Services entity of Solvay, the Human Resources Service Line aims to deliver HR services for the Group including Learning & Development, Talent Attraction, Global Mobility, HR Operations and Payroll & Benefits.

The Learning and Development team will be responsible for executing on the Learning and Development strategy on a Worldwide basis. Working in a collaborative model with Global People Practices (GPP - responsible for Learning and Development Strategy), the HR family and the business, the Global Learning Associates will be responsible for the coordination and support of the Learning and Development Services, in close co-operation with employees, managers, Learning Consultant colleagues and other internal and external stakeholders.

As the Global Learning Associate your responsibilities will involve:

  • Being a key contact when further orientation is needed to support managers & employees on learning initiatives.

  • Working with GPP L&D strategy team to work on the behavioral learning tendency, gaps and improvements needed in the learning initiatives.

  • Drive the implementation, maintenance and improvement of Solvay?s Global standards.

  • Support the simplified invoicing process of preferred providers learning initiatives.

  • Act as a key contributor to the maintenance and accuracy of the information into Solvay Learning Management System (LMS) and participate in the implementation of the new LMS.

  • Monitor and analyse the KPIs related to the different learning processes. and report on them.

  • Manage administrative tasks to ensure smooth execution, follow-up and consistency of learning initiatives.

  • Coordinate and deploy internal workshops in alignment with GPP's roadmap.

  • Debrief assessments reports to specific target population.


Education and Experience


  • Degree in HR, Business Management or related field

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar Learning & Development position


Skills


Technical Skills

  • Prior Technical Skills as an admin user in a LMS

  • Training delivery experience to users and trainers

  • Familiar with Digital tools and virtual classes

  • English is mandatory


Soft skills

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication at all levels

  • Facilitation skills including ability to deliver engaging workshops virtually

  • Impact and influence

  • Building relationship and trust

  • Analytical skills to interpret data to improve the process

  • Proactivity and able to take initiatives
