Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Heat Pump technology for residential heating and cooling is known and acknowledged as leading technology within the Electrification to realize significant reductions of CO2 emissions.

You will have the opportunity to join into a growing and cross-functional product development team of Residential Heat Pumps in Aveiro. Your contribution as Lab Engineer will create the essential value add into successful product introduction for our heat pump business.

You'll be responsible for:

• 
  Support on the specification of test rigs and lab infrastructure;
• 
  Support on the communication with suppliers for buildup of test rigs and lab infrastructure;
• 
  Testing of heat pumps and components including appliance and interface with the system;
• 
  Specification of heat pump requirements with the background of the entire heating/cooling and domestic water system;
• 
  Analyze test data and status of heat pump operation;
• 
  Create test plans, execute and document development tests;
• 
  Issue product technical documentation (reports, procedures);

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• 
  Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar;
• 
  Experienced in lab technologies and lab requirements;
• 
  Knowledge in thermodynamics and refrigeration;
• 
  Knowledge in testing specification;
• 
  Refrigeration and/or Hydraulic professional background is a benefit;
• 
  Preferred working experience in laboratory environment;
• 
  Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote);
• 
  Good communication skills;
• 
  Ability to work in a team environment;
• 
  Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions in a structured way;
• 
  Problem solving mindset, results oriented and pro-active attitude;
• 
  Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
