Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Heat Pump technology for residential heating and cooling is known and acknowledged as leading technology within the Electrification to realize significant reductions of CO2 emissions.

You will have the opportunity to join into a growing and cross-functional product development team of Residential Heat Pumps in Aveiro. Your contribution as Development Engineer will create the essential value add into successful product introduction for our heat pump business.

You'll be responsible for:

• 
  Development and Technical Responsibility of heat pumps with the focus on Full Monobloc HPs and their Use Cases
• 
  Technical Ownership for System integration of Full Monobloc HPs - in terms of functionality, interfaces, accessories, load profiles, always in relation to customer needs; specification of heat pump requirements with the background of the entire heating/cooling and domestic water system; coordination of System solutions according market requirements; and specify test plans and execute development tests within internal laboratory or with external test institutes;
• 
  Analyze and evaluate test data and create results out of it;
• 
  Issue product technical description and documentation (reports, procedures).

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• 
  Master's or Doctoral Degree - Mechanical or Physics Engineering;
• 
  Preferred > 3 years working experience ;
• 
  Project experience in product development;
• 
  Knowledge in thermodynamics and refrigeration;
• 
  Knowledge in testing specification;
• 
  Able to understand complex system development;
• 
  Refrigeration and/or Hydraulic professional background is a plus;
• 
  Familiarity with Product Development tools (FMEA, DFMA, FAM) is valued;
• 
  Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• 
  Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions in a structured way;
• 
  Results oriented, pro-active attitude and ability to work in a team environment;
• 
  Good communication skills, precise and structured. Able to explain complex circumstances in a clear manner;
• 
  Good konwledge of English (written and verbal communication);
• 
  Willingness to travel and to work in an international environment.
