Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

In this project you will have the opportunity to join the Eletronics and Controls R&D group from water heating business of Bosch, which is responsible for the development of the solutions that control and connect our product portfolio.

You will join a multidisciplinary and experienced team, with hardware and software competencies, and contribute in the whole development lifeclycle jorney of our fascinating products.

You will be responsible for:

• 
  Design electronic hardware solutions and PCB layout, according to the applicable standards and guidelines for water heating appliances or connected products (such as Wireless Gateways or Control Units);
• 
  Extract hardware requirements from system requirements;
• 
  Specify interfaces from the electronics to the mechanical parts, ensuring the correct integration of the HW component within the system;
• 
  Support complete product lifecycle, including maintenance of previously released products (bug-fixing/improvements);
• 
  Maintain close and transparent contact with the team and stakeholders regarding the on-going activities, procedures and progress;
• 
  Actively contribute to the fulfillment of project plan and quality targets;
• 
  Continuously identify and drive improvement opportunities to the process, tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• 
  Academic degree in electronics engineering field or similar;
• 
  Relevant experience in electronics product development and related tools (hardware design and layout);
• 
  Previous contact with Agile development using common frameworks (e.g. Scrum, SAFe);
• 
  Pro-activeness and focus on solutions;
• 
  Good communication skills (Portuguese and English).
