About the opportunity

We are recruiting for a Senior Frontend Developer to focus on our Ellucian Banner Admin product which makes use of a UI framework that has been developed and maintained internally. You will be given a chance to help form a team to maintain and evolve this product as well as contributing to the product?s future roadmap. You are expected to be able to manage backlogs and use agile development methodologies for the product release cycles. You will also be evolving our framework to make use of all the modern Web application design patterns and trends, whenever possible.

What you will bring

• Computer science higher education or at least 3 years of experience as a senior software engineer/developer.
• 
  4+ years of experience as a JavaScript developer.
• 
  4+ years of experience as a Frontend developer.
• 
  Can deeply understand complex requirements and how these impact products on a macro level.
• 
  Excellent knowledge of CSS, Javascript, XSLT, XML, Java, HTML, JQuery.

Desirable experience

• Previous experience as a product owner/manager and software team lead.
• 
  Knowledge of the Morphis Frames framework.
• 
  Knowledge of Banner Admin 9x ERP.
• 
  Knowledge of Web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and how to design pages to be conformant to the standard.
