The aim of the Excellence Center is to support the GBUs to accelerate the value delivery of Operational Excellence initiatives and fully leverage the potential of emerging digital technologies.

Job Overview and Responsibilities


The Customer Engagement Model (CEM) Team is part of the Transformation Center and its key objective is to Guide the Solvay organization to improving results by defining, implementing and monitoring group Excellence methodologies, processes, tools and building up the necessary skills.
This includes:

  • Gaining commercial efficiency deploying, among other levers, pricing strategy, channel strategy, key account management, voice of customer, ...

  • Growing Solvay?s market shares by finding new opportunities and selecting the most promising battles;

  • Accelerating value capture through go-to-market strategies, business model innovations and product launches;

  • Leveraging digital on customer centric approach and on projects co-executed with other excellence teams.

  • Developing and giving training together with its multinational coworkers to raise marketing & sales capabilities and skills across the group.

  • Harvests and maintains premium understanding of the markets: trends, needs, ?

Main accountabilities:

As part of the CEM Team, you will provide support project leader/senior project leader or domain expert in decision making by generating insights through creating and analyzing data and also to support methodology and process.
Your tasks will include:

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g. customer segmentation, pricing, voice of the customer,?) and synthesize information;

  • Building documentation;

  • Support on network animation;

  • Support on facilitation of workshops.

Education and Experience


  • Master or Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Applied Economics, Commercial Engineer, Civil Engineer, Bio-Engineer, followed by ideally a first successful experience in the commercial domain;

Skills


  • Highly motivated and fast-learning team player with a ?can-do? attitude who shows initiative, flexibility, determination and professionalism;

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written;

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including problem structuring and synthesis;

  • Having demonstrated a strong ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural and international environment (through past internships and/or experiences abroad);

  • Advanced mastering of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) is a plus.
