Truphone is going through an exciting phase of growth and we need a technology recruitment superstar to come and join our team for an initial 3-month duration. Bring your expertise and experience in recruiting technology and operations to our fast paced, international business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team on a temporary basis and partner with our Senior Technology recruiter in helping to fill some our critical roles. You will partner with our Infrastructure, Technology Operations, Software Development, Engineering & Product and Operations leads in Lisbon, Moscow & Manila to ensure the recruitment team is finding creative ways to connect with local and global tech communities to hire the right talent, in the right time.

This is a very hands-on position in a very busy in-house recruitment team. You will be involved in scheduling interviews, helping with admin, conducting searches, leading assessments and being a central point of contact for internal and external recruitment queries.

You will need to be skilled, fast paced and enjoy working in a fast environment engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

Please note this is only a temporary position initially as we go through growth.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

  • Apply your knowledge and experience to recruit for all roles with ownership of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle including any recruitment administration required.

  • Candidate attraction and engagement whilst collaborating with your wider resourcing team.

  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

  • Help the resourcing team reduce agency usage by finding innovative and creative ways to fill jobs directly and by promoting employee referrals.

  • Define packages and presenting/negotiating offers.

  • Ongoing pipelining of top talent candidates against anticipated future needs of the business.

  • Perform pre-screening calls to assess candidate?s abilities. Conduct interviews using a combination of various methods including structured interviews, technical assessments and Psychometric findings.

  • Get involved in creating talent pools, university hiring and any process improvements needed.


Skills and Experience Required

  • Ideally, 2 years IT or Technology recruitment experience as a Tech Recruiter either in a fast paced tech startup or similar environment.

  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats

  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for tech roles.

  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques as well as a developed network in the Portuguese technology market.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese.

  • Excellent listening, negotiating, persuading and presentation skills. Have the ability to converse confidently, build relationships at all levels and present a professional image to senior managers and candidates alike.

  • An interest in working for an innovative telecommunications company.

  • Key competencies: self-motivation; a positive, hard-working, can do attitude; bags of energy; flexible approach; able to follow processes; resilience.

  • Someone who wants to add value but have fun whilst working hard for the team is fundamental

  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure and the ability to manage and assess priorities for the Recruitment team.
