A research position for one Research Grant (?Bolsa de Investigação?) is opened at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of the Project QMiCS ? Quantum Microwave Communication and Sensing, with Grant Agreement n. 820505, supported by Horizon 2020 programme of the European Commission. The work for this position is in the area of development of QLANs.

Master degree in Physics; Enrolment in a doctoral programme in Physics; knowledge of quantum information theory, quantum entanglement, quantum computation, classical and quantum computational physics; self-motivation for scientific research; ability for teamwork.. Place of work:
The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at Lisboa, under the supervision of Professor Yasser Omar.

Duration:
7 months, with the possibility of renewal, till the end of this project. Start date: 01-03-2021

Monthly salary:
1.074,64? (net), according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by FCT for positions held in Portugal (www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores). The payment will be made by bank transfer.
