By order issued by the Director General of the Telecommunications Institute on September 14, 2021, it was approved to open an international call to select one researcher with a master degree in the scientific the scope of the approved project IMMINENCE: Intelligent Management of next generation MobIle NEtworks aNd serviCEs - POCI-01-0247-FEDER-112314, under a fixed-term work contract with a duration of 8 months with the possibility of renewal, overseen by the legal Work Code.

Admission Requirements:

Any national, foreign and stateless candidate(s) holding a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computers, Informatics or related scientific fields, and holders of a curriculum that reveals an adequate profile and background for the activity to be developed. Relevant professional experience or academic training in the area of telecommunications, in particular in Software Defined Radios, Radio Access Networks, 5G mobile communications, performance assessment and optimization of communication systems, are mandatory.





Work Objectives:

Design, implementation, integration and validation of components on 5G test platforms for evaluation and optimization of QoS and QoE, autonomous management and orchestration.

Applicable legislation:

Labour Code approved by Law no. 7/2009 of 12 February, under its current Reading.





Place of work:

The workplace shall be at Instituto de Telecomunicações, Polo de Aveiro, Campus Universitário de Santiago, 3810-193 Aveiro.





Duration:

A fixed-term work contract with a duration of 8 months with the possibility of renewal





Monthly salary:

The monthly remuneration to be attributed consists of 1, 632.82 Euros.

Each criteria, and the final classification F will be evaluated in a scale (0-20). The candidates will be ordered according to:

F = C1 x 50% + C2 x 50%

In case of a tie, the tied candidates will be ordered according to C1, then C2...
