The Work You?ll Do:

You will be partner with various internal teams such as a Product Marketing, Product Management and Product Development to ensure market and product requirements are appropriately reflected and implemented in a finished product. You will act as an expert on the functionality and will support other internal groups such as Sales Engineering, Implementation and Technical Support when needed.

What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

• Collect product requirements from key buyer audiences and end users


• Coordinate the creation of product mockups and prototypes


• Fulfills the product owner role for one or multiple agile development teams


• Write and present the product requirements document


• Oversee and sign off on the functional spec


• Oversee the product as it is being built by development/engineering


• Communicate with stakeholders during the development of a product to keep them updated


• Coordinate testing of a product, including user acceptance testing, alpha and beta programs


• Collect, coordinate, and prioritize bug fixes

What We Need From You:

• Technical experience supporting a product


• Problem solving approach to quickly generate and evaluate several solutions


• Multi-tasker with an affinity for providing maximum results


• Familiar with scrum process and willingness to 'jump in'


• Due to clients with federal contracts - one must have an ability to pass a background check and drug test


• Excellent knowledge about Scrum, its roles, ceremonies and artifacts


• As a Product Owner you should use techniques and being able to:

  • Translating product managers' strategies to tasks for development
  
  
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and reflecting them on product backlog
  
  
  • Learning the market and customers' needs
  
  
  • Serving as a liaison between product and development
  
  
  • Being always present and actively in the scrum ceremonies where is required: Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospective
  
  
  • Driving Sprint Planning and Product Backlog meetings
  
  
  • Staying accessible to development to answer questions during the sprints
