Who You'll Work With

You?ll work with Finalta in Lisbon and be part of the Finalta Capabilities & Insights Team.



As part of Finalta?s Hub you will be responsible for leveraging our unique, proprietary and large database to help teams deliver impact through analytics and deep understanding of relevant benchmarks. You will work on creating custom insights tailored to each project, will become known as the go to person for benchmarking analysis and market trends, and will contribute to the development of cutting-edge knowledge for internal and external sharing. You will work across both retail and corporate segments deepening your knowledge across a variety to core topics such as distribution and growth strategy, digital marketing and sales, or productivity improvement.



Building on more than fifteen years' experience working with leading banks and insurers, Finalta combines performance benchmark data and best-practice knowledge from 350 financial institutions in over 50 countries to generate insights on how to achieve superior performance. Annual benchmarking provides clients with a unique management tool to objectively assess performance against peers and quantify opportunities for improvement. Our best-practice cases illustrate how to close performance gaps and give clients a roadmap to reach world-class performance while reducing the time, cost, and risk of change.

What You'll Do

You will articulate, scope, and prioritize data and insights needs, and identify and gather relevant information using Finalta?s databases and proprietary software.



In this role, you will also provide synthesis, insight, and practical implications within tight deadlines, via end products in the form of written summaries, custom analysis, basic fact packs, and spreadsheets and serve as a thought partner, who can both engage in team problem solving and contribute to knowledge creation initiatives.

Over time, you will develop a solid grounding in core principles of banking. As an analysts? career evolves, you may become a senior analyst and develop deep insights into key banking topics. You also start working with specialists, experts and senior leaders of the practice to help McKinsey teams identify and evaluate critical performance and strategic issues for discussions with senior client executives, and also spend some time working directly on client engagements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of financial and general business concepts


• 2+ years of relevant working experience


• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills, as well as curiosity and a passion for research


• Interest in the banking domain with intermediate/advanced content knowledge


• Superb people skills, strong team-orientation, and a professional attitude


• Excellent communication skills ? including the ability to interact effectively at all levels of a large international organization


• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines


• Fluency in English is required
