About The Role



Cobee is in a scaling mission going through high-growth. We are launching new markets across the globe. We are looking for a Country Manager to lead our team based in Portugal. As a Country Manger, you'll lead and boost our growth and presence in Portugal. You will also lead by example and become a cultural ambassador for Cobee?s culture and values, sharing our culture in through recruiting, managing, and developing our Portuguese team of business development, account executives, and customer success managers.



Main challenges:



  • Bring growth from business development efforts, and define the strategy to continue to grow in Portugal.

  • Develop and execute a successful go-to-market strategy.

  • Create and develop trusted relationships across all levels and teams in potential accounts, including the C- suite.

  • Lead any commercial negotiations, pitches, or dispute resolution processes.

  • Study feedback from customers, competitors, volume potential, price roadmap, benefits, etc. in order to refine sales and market strategy.

  • Drive organizational changes to impact the outcomes on the Portuguese market, by partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product, People, and many other departments.

  • Establish new distribution channels by building strong commercial partnerships,

  • Use internal resources and your external network to leverage opportunities and overcome challenges


You are:




  • Someone who takes ownership, an ambitious mindset and highly oriented towards customer and user satisfaction.

  • A highly-motivated person with an entrepreneur spirit.

  • Business-minded and capable of speaking to strategic growth.

  • Flexible, a self-starter and autonomous, with a can-do attitude.

  • An excellent organizational and analytical person: you go crazy with a beautiful company performance report.

  • A problem-solver.

  • Someone with a goal-driven mindset.

  • An excellent communicator (Native Portuguese is a must, Proficiency in English is required and Spanish is a plus)

  • A doer, but also a leader.


You have:



  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams, working as key account manager, B2B & B2C experience, previous experience as Founder/ Country Manager/CEO is a plus.

  • Excellent organization skills to manage pipelines and make relations with prospects & entrepreneurial spirit.

  • A self-starter who thrives on working independently to achieve ambitious new business targets while actively engaging as a team member, adhering to company guidelines.

  • Proven track record of developing new business in the region, preferably in a SaaS.

  • Demonstrated and effective skills in team working, time management, communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills.

  • Proven experience working with CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot Etc), Sales KPIs, and Dashboards.

  • Proven knowledge of SaaS, and depp knowledge of the Benefits industry and HR products and services.

  • Structured mindset and always eager to improve the way you work.
