Program Director Full-time

Position Summary:


The Program Director, is responsible for supporting the global growth and development of the Fisher Clinical Services (FCS) supply chain management services by supporting business development efforts for the global service line. This position will work with FCS clients, Account Executives (AE), Clinical Supply Chain Managers (CSCM), site Client Services staff, global service lines and leadership to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to communicate the service offering, understand the client?s service expectations and prepare and track proposals for service.



Responsibilities:



  • Drive revenue growth according to annual targets

  • Support Account Executives as Subject Matter Experts on client presentations

  • Support Marketing in the development of marketing materials for the service line

  • Develop high level supply strategies and demand plan for the purposes of preparing a coordinated proposal for clients

  • Leverage understanding of Fisher Clinical Services resources to propose solutions to clients

  • Coordinate quote development partnership with quoting group, AEs and other service lines

  • Prepare and/or review quote work ups

  • Maintain information regarding the status and value of leads and opportunities, share information for revenue and resource planning activities

  • Summarize and report metrics as required

  • Negotiate effectively with clients without damaging relationships

  • Coordinate transition from quote/proposal stage to active project stage with Clinical Supply Chain management team

  • Take lead in developing solutions to solve issues with existing clients or objections from potential clients

  • Establish financial forecasts for assigned client projects

  • Utilize an extensive network in the pharmaceutical industry to generate and cultivate leads

  • Participate and present at relevant industry conferences and seminars

  • Work with Fisher Clinical Service sales and marketing to coordinate a full service approach with prospective clients, reviewing trends in customer requirements and proposing strategies

  • Represent and appropriately position the service for potential clients

  • Utilize understanding of Clinical Trial Supply Chain Management best practice principles to develop new or improve existing business processes and appropriately documents and revises or develops associated training materials

  • Mentor and coach associates new to the Clinical Supply Optimization role on best practices associated with managing clinical supply chains

  • Stay abreast of relevant cGMPs, GCPs, and other regulatory requirements and ensures study management activities are aligned

  • Demonstrate the ability to promote the company vision

  • Conduct activities in a safe and efficient manner

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the business



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor?s degree or higher in operations management or science-related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)

  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical supply chain management experience

  • Experienced in building and managing forecasts for clinical supply chains

  • Excellent computer skills, including high proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word and MS Project as well as the Office 365 environment



  • Strong Project Management Skills



  • Significant travel (up to 50%) may be required, including international travel



  • Ability to independently manage priorities and workday in a remote setting



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certificates: Certified Project Management Professional is preferred. APICS certification (CPIM) also desirable

  • High Level of Business Acumen in both Administration and Business Strategies

  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills, conceptual skills

  • Excellent Teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Accuracy and attentiveness to details

  • Demonstrated strength in leadership and coaching others

  • Strong customer service experience

  • Ability to identify problems and work toward a solution
