EIMEA Marketing Manager Full-time

POSITION OVERVIEW


The EIMEA (Europe, India, Middle East, Africa) Marketing Manager will have the primary responsibility for managing the EIMEA marketing team focused on all 14 market segments and 6 strategic business segments. This position will report directly to the Director - Global Marketing in Engineering Adhesive Global Business Unit.



The roles and responsibilities include leading and inspiring an exceptional team of marketers. Key focuses will be marketing coordination, execution, and project management of customer focused communications, tools, and collateral within specific market segment. By closely working with the key stakeholders (Commercial, Technical, and Product Management), the EIMEA Marketing Manager will be expected to deliver a high quality, impactful marketing plan, product launch, and sustained marketing campaign in order to capitalize on the program and maximum potential. Other responsibilities would include development of metrics for tracking marketing initiatives, collection of results, engaging voice of customer feedback and analyzing performance to help guide the overall marketing strategy. The focus will be centered around the Europe, India, Middle East, and Africa geography.



The EIMEA Marketing Manager will closely collaborate and work with EA Strategic Regional Marketing Managers, Regional Marketing Specialists, Product Management, Commercial teams, Digital Communications, IT, Legal, and R&D teams.



The position can be either virtual, or based in any H.B. Fuller facility in the Europe.



PRIMARY DUTIES




  • Strategy: Create Regional Strategic Marketing Plan which aligns with Global EA Marketing Strategy.

  • Management Responsibilities: Leverage strong leadership skills to manage, coach, guide, and assist a team of marketing experts to execute strategic goals and objectives.

  • Manage Team in Effort Focuses:

    • Collateral: Create marketing content according to our brand guidelines that clearly articulates our value proposition and generates demand (ex. sell sheets, product catalogs, case studies, presentations, videos, blogs, infographics, product sample kits, etc.).

    • Product Launch: Working closely with key stakeholders, including product managers, commercial directors, and other marketing specialists, support positioning and messaging of content in the commercialization stage for automotive regional product launches and growth initiatives.

    • Digital Marketing: In conjunction with product management, commercial business leaders, and sales, develop Digital Marketing strategies for all market segment and drive new opportunities, penetrate new accounts, expand H.B. Fuller?s technology awareness, and accelerate profitable growth.

    • VOC: Develop & Support Voice of the Customer (VOC) initiatives to better understand customer?s assessment of H.B. Fuller and our product/technology offerings within the targeted industry. Work with Product Management & Commercial Directors to implement marketing campaigns to enhance our strengths and counter weaknesses assessed from the VOC.

    • Event Coordination: Create strategy for and manage execution of customer or industry related events for the each market within the EIMEA (ex. trade shows, conferences, open houses, tech fairs, webinars, etc.) within the budgeted spend for the event.

    • Market Image: Improve H.B. Fuller?s image by finding ways to highlight and promote our experts at industry events, in digital content, or with professional organizations.

    • Training: Create and deliver, in collaboration with Product Management, internal digital training for sales teams on product launches and existing technologies we can sell into the automotive market segment.


  • Brand Management:

    • Brand Evaluation: Work hand in hand with Commercial & Product Management team to research, evaluate, and understand current brand family. Capture and collect data and intelligence around levels of brand equity within the family.

    • Brand Consolidation: Identify opportunities for brand consolidations while creating and designing EA brand identity, architecture, and hierarchy.

    • Brand Strategy: Develop a comprehensive branding strategy for EA and the subsequent brand family. This should include planning and coordination of roll out efforts throughout the organization and to our customers.

    • Brand Management: Working closely with all key stakeholders, support implementation, execution, and maintenance of strategy to ensure clear messaging and brand equity is being utilized and leveraged to its fullest.

    • Brand Culture: Build and Lead the brand culture within the EA organization.


  • Internal Communications: Support Global EA Internal communications be collecting, creating, and supplying regional specific activities, initiatives, and important event information. Work hand in hand with regional marketing specialists to deliver EA Pulse newsletter on a quarterly basis.

  • Reporting: Develop deliverables and report out on impact of initiatives in monthly dashboard report. Providing detailed and timely analysis for all marketing elements initiated and executed.



EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED


Supervisor to currently 4 marketing team members within the Engineering Adhesive Global Business Unit. Further team members to be added as business demand requires.



BUDGETARY/FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY


The role holder is responsible for executing automotive marketing within the budget communicated to them by the Director of Global Marketing, Commercial Directors, Product Managers, or the Segment Leader.



Minimum Requirements




  • Bachelor?s degree in communications, marketing, business administration or equivalent.

  • At least 5+ years of marketing, marketing communications, or brand management.

  • At least 5+ years of management experience

  • Exceptional leadership skills and proven success creating strategic plans, cultivate collaboration, and driving results

  • Proficient in English Language, both written and spoken

  • Ability to manage creative processes and deliver consistent, aligned content across multiple communications channels, including advertising, websites, social media, trade shows and events, media relations, partner programs, and other key communications vehicles and activities.

  • Demonstration of excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement strong internal and external strategies, plans and programs.

  • Must exhibit strong self-driven and self-governance skills

  • Ability to manage budgets and outside vendors.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Demonstrated skills in the following competencies:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Multi-Lingual: German, Portagese

  • Knowledge or Familiarity of the adhesives/chemical industry.

  • Ability to influence and motivate others without direct reporting authority.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; In Particular:

    • High Skills desired for Adobe Illustrator, Camtasia, or equivalent software systems

    • Moderate Skills desired in excel to manipulate, create, and leverage this tool to improve speed of job execution where applicable

    • Moderate Skills desired in PowerPoint to fully utilize as a communication tool

    • Basic Skills Desired for word, one note, access, outlook


  • Knowledge/experience with executing Digital Marketing strategies

  • Skills in Graphic Design, Video Software and Editing, App Design/Creation



PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT



General office environment. Some regional travel may be required (<15%).
