EMEA Regional Marketing Manager, Ion Chromatography / Sample Prep Full-time

The job:



As our new EMEA Regional Marketing manager, you will be responsible for implementing regional marketing strategy, campaign execution and demand generation for our Ion Chromatography/Sample Preparation (IC/SP) and Discrete Industrial Analyzers (DIA) business across EMEA. This high-profile, exciting role will act as a key connection with Global and Business Unit marketing, resulting in measurable impact on revenue and pipeline. Collaborating closely with the commercial organization, the position will provide direct marketing support, as well as collaborate on regional goal setting. This role will also work with the broader regional marketing team and Global Marketing on market dynamics, driving opportunities, customer requirements, promoting digital transformation and sales pipeline needs.

This role is being offered as fully remote (working from home) based anywhere in Europe. Some international travel will be required ? up to 20% per annum max ? including overnight stays.



What will you do?




  • Build and develop the annual marketing strategy and plans, implement regional marketing programs and define the go-to-market strategy for new product launches for Ion Chromatography, Sample Prep, Discrete Industrial Analyzers and the Environmental vertical market to drive demand generation, pipeline health, new contacts and empower the EMEA commercial team

  • Collaborate and form a close relationship with Business Unit Product Marketing, Divisional Marketing, Regional Marketing Managers across the globe and other global teams to craft, implement and run digital-based nurturing programs, telemarketing campaigns, conduct and act-upon voice-of-customer and sales enablement initiatives amongst others to strengthen the lead and opportunity pipeline.

  • Supervise program and campaign performance for return on investment and proactively take steps to improve results where required and report accomplishments through production and presentation of regional marketing reports and reviews

  • We measure success through achievement of revenue, profitability and marketing metric targets, connection with the regional commercial teams and the sharing of standard methodologies and marketing innovation around the world. Who we are looking for:




  • Degree in a life or physical science. Higher degree or marketing qualification an advantage

  • Several years experience in a scientific marketing or commercial role. Breadth of experience working across customers, sales and marketing an advantage

  • Strong technical understanding and background in ion chromatography

  • Experience with planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns and concept of customer-journeys

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially for large audiences (oral/written), problem solving, active listening skills, collaborative approach, ability to influence in a matrix setting

  • Proficiency in running multiple projects and demands and working with an agile marketing approach

  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability and sense of ownership when driving projects to completion

  • Innovative and positive demeanor

  • Ability to work independently/in a group setting/with little direction/without direct supervision

  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% per annum, including overnight stays

  • Fluent in English
