Diverta is welcoming internship applicants for the front-end and back-end developer positions. You will explore and participate in our new Headless CMS project: Kuroco (https://kuroco.app/).

We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated to learn new technologies and have an interest in eventually becoming full-stack engineers.

We provide you with learning opportunities both for new skills as well as an irreplaceable insight into business-level product development. You can complete the internship 100% remotely with consistent follow-up and feedback from our team.

At the end of the internships every year, we offer a full-time position to selected interns.

Responsibilities:

• Commitment to your internship program over the defined period/hours.
• Work and learn for your internship assignment as recommended by your mentors.
• Participate in weekly follow-up meetings or other scheduled meetings.
• Summarize & present your progress regularly to the team/mentors.

Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in college/university.
• Proficiency in web technologies: Javascript, Typescript, PHP (MDN Web Docs).
• Familiarity with API and front-end frameworks: React.js, Vue.js, Next.js, Nuxt.js, ?
• Experience using SQL and DB (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Firebase).
• Eager to learn, confident to practically acquire new skills by studying.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and the information to present.
• Prior projects (school, personal) are a plus.
• Common values with our company, and compliance with Diverta Way.

Work conditions:

• Employment type: Internship (in 2022)
• Stipend: JPY 25.000 per month
• Location: 100% Remote (office work in Tokyo-Japan is currently unavailable due to local restrictions)
