YOUR WORK-LIFE OPPORTUNITY:

Our Voice and Numbers team's mission is to build a unified voice communication platform that will be used across the Glovo. During this greenfield project you will be building a global 2 factor authentication workflow based on mobile verification, across all cases: verify customer/courier identity, reduce fraud and verify payments.

You will contribute to build an omni-channel communication platform to support the whole contact flow for customers, couriers and partners; defining dynamic workflows, AI-driven routing and bots integration.

BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

• Working on the admin platform within the company to support agents working in different continents where Glovo operates in


• Be a part of the team to create a plan for moving the different services we own out of the monolith into different microservices


• Be a part of a cross-functional team working closely with mobile and frontend engineers


• Develop software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles


• Make our technology and our team scale as the business grows


• Own your deliverables from start to finish


• Deliver high-quality solutions


• Participate in the team's life and contribute to decision-making

YOU HAVE:

• Computer Science or similar degree


• Strong Java skills and microservices - highly welcome (you will be building microservices from scratch)


• Worked on Greenfield project


• Familiar with Cloud communication


• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture


• Ability to write good unit tests is a must


• Knowledge of relational databases and other approaches to data management


• Knowledge of concurrency and Event Driven Development


• Analytical and problem-solving skills


• Vivid interest in at least one area outside of coding (architecture, algorithms, optimization, automation, scalability, etc.)


• Great communication skills (advanced level of writing and speaking in English)
