Role Summary/Purpose


You are looking for a job with diverse tasks, huge learning opportunities and a large network within the company? Join our Wind Education Center and support us in passing on knowledge to colleagues and customers - Developing people is embedded in our culture!

  • Conduct domestic / international training classes at facility for internal GE and/or external customer field technicians and hands-on lab sessions to reinforce classroom theory
  • Support services training initiatives/projects
  • Participate as an active member of the Learning organization in defining and implementing new programs that support our goal of being the World's Best Services team
  • Participate in regular scheduled Operations meetings with main stakeholder from Installation / Commissioning and Service to align training capabilities and related trainings


Required Qualifications

  • Electrotechnical or mechanical education ("Berufsausbildung") or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (from an accredited university or college)
  • First experience on construction sites / projects/ Service Area/ rotational assignments
  • Fluent English skills, technical English mandatory
  • Ability and willingness to climb Wind Turbines as needed as part of field support assignments
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% Domestic / International


Desired Characteristics

  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to comfortably address large audiences
  • General technical Wind turbine experience, especially in WTG Installations.
