Multinational in financial services sector is currently searching for a HRBP to support the company in Portugal, Italy and Brazil, position based in Lisbon.

About the HRBP role

The HRBP will provide effective HR support throughout the employee life cycle and will support all HR matters for the company in Portugal, Italy and Brazil.

The HRBP will report to the Group HR Manager and its main functions will be:

• Assist line managers to understand and implement effective people management practices

• Coordinate all aspects of recruitment processes

• Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes

• Ensure all HR documents are in place and in line with current legislation and group policy

• Keeping abreast of employment law in Portugal, Italy and Brazil

• Develop and implement policies on issues as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management

• Manager the admin/payroll team effectively (payroll is outsourced)

• Give support in performance reviews/appraisals

• Manage disciplinary procedures

For this position, we require a 5+ years experienced professional with a strong background in a generalist HR role. The candidate must have experience in stakeholder management, must be able to work independently and have good working knowledge of employment law in Portugal. Some knowledge of Italian and/or Brazilian employment law would be beneficial.

Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory. Good knowledge of Spanish and Italian would be a great asset.
