Global HRIS Manager Full-time

The Global HRIS Manager role oversees and manages the support, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our HR systems to ensure current and future functionality exists to support HR and business processes. Partners with IT and HR leaders to identify and prioritize business needs, deliverables, and timelines for enhancements, implementations, and administration of processes. In addition, coordinates the work with our Application Management Support Partner for an optimal and efficient incident resolution as well as changes and enhancements implementation.

Responsibilities:
SYSTEM OWNERSHIP

Oversees the Global HR Information Systems and Services, including its management, development, maintenance, upgrades, procedures, and planning, in cooperation and supervising our Applications Management Services Partner activities.
Builds the short-term and long-term HR Information Systems plan to address both operational and strategic HR and business needs and ensures its realisation.

GOVERNANCE and PARTNERSHIP

Defines and suggests the development, improvements of governance bodies that rule the global configuration and enhancement of HR IS. Actively participate in these bodies as required.
Collaborate within HR and other Functions (Finance, IT, Admin and Compliance) teams fostering partnership, open communication, contributing to the value proposition of the HR as a function.

PROJECTS

Leader and ultimate responsible to evaluate system technical enhancements requirements, resources, costs, impacts and oversee the implementation efforts and activities. Oversees the technical roll-out of approved SF initiatives.
Drive identification, assessment and execution of ongoing process improvement initiatives in terms of user experience, quality and productivity. Partner with IT and other key stakeholders to translate your team?s requirements into enhancements or process improvements.
Other Ad-hoc projects and assignments

TECHINCAL EXPERTISE

Serves as a global expert on system functionality and landscape; provides technical expertise in the various HR Information Systems as needed.
Oversees interfaces between SuccessFactors and other downstream system integrations while managing system maintenance schedules together with IT global/local and, where and when applicable, finance (accounting, treasury systems), procurement (Ariba), global travel (Concur), IT (ServiceNow) and other applications interfacing with SuccessFactors.
Oversees all SuccessFactors upgrades/releases and system additions in partnership with system vendor and internal customers.
Support users (including HR, IT, managers and employees) on any technical issues that arise from HR systems as well as any training required.
Perform User Acceptance Testing when there are changes to our HR systems.

OPERATIONS

Direct the day-to-day activities of HRIS team that support the HR function
Directs the operations necessary to ensure global core data integrity, data confidentiality, and proper accesses of HR systems.
Act as coordinator contact for IT technical support and case management, ensuring satisfactory resolutions and escalations as needed in everything related to HRIS. Be the main interface between HR and IT on operational level.
Work with IT to keep all interfaces running smoothly and plan for any changes required.
Ensure all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws, specific to different global regions.

LEADERSHIP

Provides direction to and manages HRIS Specialists.
Establishes operational goals for direct reports. Provides development and direction to team in achieving objectives and defined and reviewing performance.

VENDOR MANAGEMENT

As needed, oversee evaluation and selection of new vendors and oversee the implementation of new systems or modules within existing systems.
Manage third party contractors in case special support is externalized through service level agreements

Skills and qualifications which make a perfect match:
Bachelor?s degree
SuccessFactors accreditation is EC and other modules
Strong Experience with SuccessFactors HCM portfolio
Experience for 8+ years in HR
Experience working across multiple geographic regions
Experience working with application support partners
Experience managing HR systems projects and working with technical resources
Fluency in English
Understanding of Portuguese and Spanish would be a plus
Proficiency with HRIS applications and tools
Proficiency in Excel
Hands-on management style, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret and/or discuss complex information with others in a clear way, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people
Proven ability to understand business requirements in a variety of functional areas
Ability to work on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong customer service orientation and skills; thrive in a team environment
Ability to work in a flexible environment and enjoy participating in the build-up of a global organization.

The Global HR Operations at COFCO International is the HR Centre of Excellence responsible for implementing, aligning, operating, and improve our Global HR systems, processes, and data to ensure seamless downstream business practices and intelligence.

Remote Work that helps you to have a healthy balance between your work and professional life. Work from the office at least 2 days per month; your manager may require you to come to the office up to 10 days per month. Remote-based work address must be Portugal. Commuting from work home address to the office is not considered business travel and not reimbursed.
