Job Overview


We are a fast growing B-Corp company who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. We are now seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to be a part of the team in our Lisbon-Marvila office. This position requires strong leadership and teamwork skills, good analytical and critical thinking, the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work and communicate effectively.


Main Goals


Coordinate a small team to ensure there are no out of stock situations. This requires keeping the warehouse organized and maximizing space utilization, while keeping a correct and updated record of all inbound and outbound movements.


Responsibilities



  • Carry out raw material loading and unloading operations

  • Deliver materials on production lines

  • Collect the final product from the production lines

  • Carry out the palletization of ready-to-ship product

  • Carry out stock counting inventories

  • Conduct conferences on incoming raw materials and consumables

  • Be available to collaborate with the production lines in case of need

  • Carry out minor repairs and/or maintenance

  • Keep warehouses clean, tidy and clear

  • Follow the rules of hygiene, health and safety at work

  • Capacity for handling light loads (25kg)



Experience You Bring



  • Previous experience in the food, pharmaceutical or logistics industry

  • Experience in an industrial environment

  • Knowledge of HACCP

  • Computer knowledge at the user level

  • Ability to organize and solve problems

  • Ability to perform scheduled hours on a regular basis

  • Motivation and assertiveness

  • Ability to propose improvements to the process

  • Ability to speak and read the English language

  • Experience in using cargo movement machines. (pallet racks, stackers, electric stack)

  • Availability to work extended hours as needed

  • Willingness to learn, grow and evolve within the organization

  • Eco friendly awareness
