  Provide Tier 3 support to infrastructure that provides backup capability for OS, application and database files for the purpose of operational and/or disaster recovery across multiple platforms.
• 
  Installation, administration, patching, upgrade, and migration backup solutions.
• 
  Write shell scripts, batch scripts, PowerShell scripts, TSM scripting.
• 
  Dedicated backup admin for troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of backup/restore/Tape Libraries issues in a 24/7 production support model.
• 
  Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and maintenance for the backup environment.
• 
  Perform health checks, change deployments, troubleshooting problems, advising stockholders and colleagues and projects meeting participation.
• 
  Provide technical/solution contributions to current operations and to the vision for the future.
• 
  Manage capacity and performance of the backup infrastructure ensuring the integrity of infrastructure on a day to day basis.
• 
  Maintain and update documentation for the standards, processes and procedures to be adhered by the team.

competências

• 
  Engineering degree;
• 
  3+ years of experience with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager;
• 
  Experience addressing L3 support issues;
• 
  Good communication skills.
