About the job


CLM Academy is a trainers? team dedicated to Client Management activities : Due Diligence (Know Your Customer), Client Regulations (Client Tax Characteristics, PIC), Client Referential and Client Services. It aims at improving :


  • The Bank protection by explaining Client Management activities to operational teams and make them aware of related risks.


  • The Operational Efficiency with centralized (and maintained) training and information resources (inc. Best practices) easily accessible for all Client Management people (Worldwide).


CLM Academy Team will centralize all training and information resources based on various medias (MyDev, classroom trainings, Sharepoint, etc) and will make them available via a Client Management Sharepoint dedicated Gateway.


CLM Academy team is in charge of providing training at local level to CLM operational people with adequate trainings (new joiners and experimented).



Objective : Whatever their location, all CLM Academy trainers and managers will use the same centralized and up-to-date training and information resources made available by CLM Academy (in addition to HR, CIB or Group trainings). Contents will be regularly updated and enriched with program/projects or new policies.



Your Main Activities Are


As CLM Academy Trainer you are responsible for making available and maintaining Activities? knowledge resources (Activities in scope : Due Diligence / Regulations / Client Referential or Client Service) via trainings and information materials.


  • Manage training needs on your CLM Activity scope
    • Implementation and regular review of « standard » training paths (set per profile) ? Ensure adequation to activity needs, adapt them when needed (ie new topic to cover)

    • Make proposal to establish and improve paths? rythms and order.

    • In addition to « standard » training paths, propose to management a selection of resources and training materials adapted to experimented people (refresh, focus on specific topics, expert views?)

  • Broadcast and Make knowledge available via various formats to accompany new joiners and more experimented people :
    • Classroom trainings,

    • Webex,

    • organization of Questions & Answers sessions, Advisory as Activity expert (by operational and/or by projects and programs)

    • Focused sessions based on specific needs,

    • Make materials available and easily accessible (powerpoint, videos, quizzes, mémos, e-learning modules?) via MyDev platform and SharePoint

  • Regular Maintainance Knowledge database
    • Implement a « watch » and governance to capture changes that might impact the covered activity : programs and projects, new policies.

    • Integrate these changes in the various impacted materials ASAP. Ensure information consistency in the full set of training resources (whatever the media).

    • N.B. : Please contact People Support & Development team who will centralise and liaise with Genesia Company to integrate changes in elearning modules (previously prepared by the activity trainer). A Maintainance contract defines approximative costs depending on amendments types.

    • Ensure all topics are covered by current set of resources and complete if needed (ie Frequent Asked Questions on forums?)

    • Maintain his/her own expertise level (ie regular contacts with production teams, participation to « experts events » with Compliance or other teams?)

  • Monitoring
    • Create and follow up on training plans in partnership with managers (Yearly and along the year)

    • Extract and analyse e-learning completion rates, Attendance to classrooms, quizzes? results etc via MyDev (and any other available tool) according to people seniority.

    • Follow these results up with team managers (quarterly) ? propose specific sessions if needed and amend training plan

    • Implement and run KPIs to measure CLM Academy efficiency after 6 months, 1 year and then every year (ie. Compliance hub KPIs, 4 eyes check in GCARS?). Propose CLM Academy adjustments according to results.

Profile and Skills to Success


  • 2+ years as operational team member (including in operational coordination & support) in one of the 4 Client Management Activities.


  • 2+ additional years in a previous job in BNPP (ideally CIB or related to CIB)


  • Any experience as a trainer (formal training or « shadowing », mentoring) is a plus.


  • Fluent English is required and any other language is a plus


  • Expertise on at least 1 operational CLM domain (Due Diligence, Client Regulations, Client Referential or Client Services


  • Good knowledge of BNP Paribas CIB and CIB ITO (organization, who are our Clients, what are our products)


  • Good knowledge of financial and regulatory environment

  • Written and Oral presentation (in English)


  • Powerpoint, Excel, Sharepoint abilities ?
