Luca's learning platform provides learning programs for primary and secondary school students.


The learning platform offers pre-recorded K12 videos, gamified content and AI powered personalized study paths, covering the entire official academic curriculum and national exams prep.

Our founding team includes ex Uber, Netflix, Morgan Stanley, Crehana, Byjus, Santillana, ThePowerMBA, Cisco, IE Business School.


Since starting the company in Q4 2020, we have:


Raised our $3M Pre-Seed round from Heartcore, Shilling and Edtech & Tier 1 Business Angels such as the Founders & CEOs of IronHack, The Power MBA, Pearson Education, Unbabel, Cobee plus C-Levels and Board Members at Descomplica, EQT, Hedosophia, EDP, Kroton and Kibo Ventures


Scaled the team to more than 40 people


Built and launched our Beta Desktop Platform + over 200 classes


Ran Pilots in over 40 schools & 3k students in Mexico & Colombia & Guatemala,

validating our assumption that Luca's curriculum is fit for the spanish speaking region as a whole


Validated usage metrics on our platform: Luca's average session time is already 3x higher than that of the most sold product in the Region ( Compartir by Editorial Santillana)

Started the sales process last week for our schools: 20% of the pilot schools have already bought the program for next school year


Achieved industry leading NPS at 84 , above 51 Education sector average NPS

Job Description


CRM and Retention Lead


We are looking to meet our new CRM Lead, to join our Lisbon office and contribute to our mission of democratizing K12 Education in Latam.


As the CRM Lead for Luca, you will be working as a core member of Luca´s team and interacting directly with the other departments.


You will... be responsible for defining and implementing Luca?s customer acquisition & retention strategy from a CRM tool point of view. This role is key to the business?s success. As Luca grows, we are strengthening our CRM capabilities. You also will be working with our team of SaaS and developers to ensure the needs of our marketing team. This professional is the first line of defense for operational, technical and process questions for our marketing team.

You know what empathy is and like autonomy. You are also a self motivated CRM and Retention Lead who believes that this planet would be much better through better education.


You love a fast-paced environment, but you also know that ?fast-paced? can be incredibly fun, zen and supportive... ah, and you are not arrogant and treat people the same way you would like to be treated.


You should be goal-oriented and keen to implement processes, automations and work with no-code tools. You can work without any supervision or mentorship, but you don't mind asking if needed (after you tried, or asked father Google).


Your responsibilities?


  • Perform technical implementation and support for CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Planning, managing, and performing application build, test, and deploy activities

  • Build up automation & email marketing campaigns

  • Contribute to segmentation analysis to target the right customer, at the right time, with the right message

  • Execute CRM data clean-up activities as well as prospecting activities and data enrichment within SFDC creating a positive user experience

  • Responsible for day to day running of CRM program

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, draw insights, and develop recommendations

  • Increase customer retention & reactivation, decrease churn

  • Drive new customer acquisition, application download, and engagement

  • Increase customer engagement through building out innovative automation campaigns grounded in measurement & insightful analysis

  • Implementation of automation flows for sales and marketing flows

  • Define new processes for data collection and analysis, including opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.


Your skills and experience


  • 3+ years experience of working within CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Experience in performing technical implementation and providing support for CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Configure 3rd party integrations with core modules using web services and APIs.

  • Experience working in a CRM / Marketing Automation tool (Salesforce, Hubspot) and building trigger-based marketing campaigns

  • Experience working with other analytical tools to ensure customer understanding and campaign results

  • Experience leveraging A/B Multivariate testing

  • Ability to work with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Experience in helping design, develop, and maintain innovative CRM and marketing solutions through innovative tools for leads, campaigns.
