Geographical Information Systems - Technology Expert (m/f)
Human Profiler is a Human Resources Consulting company, specialized in IT Outsourcing and recruitment and selection of qualified profiles, acting with total flexibility and adaptation to the needs of our customers.
Our client is looking for a Geographical Information Systems - Technology Expert (m/f), for Belgium. It can be remote during the COVID period.
Main Tasks:

• Development, testing and maintenance of GIS web applications and GIS services;
• Liaison with the EC Data Centre for the deployment of GIS applications and integration with standard EC services (e.g. EU Login authentication);
• Monitoring and testing of the GIS architecture;
• Update and maintenance of geographical databases;
• Data quality checks;
• Analysis of geographical data;
• Providing technical advice and preparing PoCsin the requested technologies;
• Participation in user, service and project meetings.

Required Profile:

• Master?s Degree in Informatics or similar
• Minimum experience of 11 years of specific expertise
• Experience in the management of geographical databases and datasets including analysis and updates;
• Experience in the management of: map services, development, testing and maintenance based on user requirements;
• Experience with: web GIS application development, ArcGIS API for JavaScript;
• Experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcToolbox, ModelBuilder, Python scripts);
• Expertise in WebLogic application servers;
• Oracle databases;
• Experience in spatial analysis and modelling;
• PM2 Agile methodology for software development;
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
• Fluent in English and Good knowledge in French.
