We ensure that we have the right project management processes, tools and training to support our project managers and their teams.

• We assist our organization to realize its projects and initiatives by securing a common project management framework, approach and support of systems and tools


• We develop, produce and maintain project management processes, tools, templates and training


• We support and train our project managers in execution of their projects


• We have focus on quality in project execution and daily management of projects


• We secure project managers have a voice and place to embed best practices into our framework, processes and tools


• We want to make it transparent, simple, and easy for project managers and project teams to effectively deliver projects

Responsibilities

Candidate will coordinate a Sub-domain within Project Excellence global team and will be responsible for the integration between different planning tools, defining new planning procedures and improve current planning tools landscape. Will also ensure support to all users across Vestas Power Solutions, in the Portfolio and Project Planning environment.

With high focus on the Portfolio and Project Management tools (SAP PPM, MS Project & Jira), the candidate will:

• Be responsible to guide all Project Manager related improvements and features development in SAP PPM


• Be the interface between IT development team and end users by securing feedback, requirements and issues are managed and solved


• Be responsible to communicate any relevant change in the tool with all VPS users


• Be responsible to adjust tool features and templates to better match existing Portfolio and Project Management procedures


• Ensure Correct Project Plan creations and maintenance in MS Project and integrated tools


• Coordinate MS Project server, ensuring access groups are maintained and Projects are correctly stored


• Coordinate monthly training sessions for planning tools

As part of the daily activities, the candidate will also be responsible to, but not only:

• Handle access to the planning tools


• Support Project Managers and Line Managers with planning related activities


• Be responsible to secure data quality across planning tools


• Develop and maintain training and support material


• Contribute for a continuous improvement in the planning tools landscape

Qualifications

• M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering, with interest in management methodologies and frameworks


• Proficient in SAP, especially SAP PS and SAP PPM


• Significant knowledge in other project planning tools like Microsoft Project and JIRA


• Experience in software administrator/architect roles in large multinational agile environment is highly desired (JIRA admin roles, MSP Project Server Administrator, or similar roles)


• Basic knowledge in visualization reporting tools (Power BI)


• Proficient in MS Office 365


• Project Management and Agile methodologies


• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
