Multiweb is a Portuguese company focused mainly on Web and App Development for the international market. We're looking for an enthusiastic Frontend Developer to join our development team.

Requirements:

• Short Term availability;

• Fluent in English;

• Proven knowledge of the essential technological environment defined below;

• Proven knowledge on application / human interaction or usability;

Essential technological environment:

• HTML/CSS - The candidate needs to be able to take a design concept and build it from scratch without resorting to CSS frameworks;

• Javascript - As part of a modern front-end development environment, the candidate is expected to be comfortable working with plain modern Javascript;

• React - Our projects use React extensively to build out discrete components and full applications. Candidate should be able to navigate and extend these codebases;

Enhanced technological environment:

• Shopify Theme Development - Understanding and previous experience with Shopify theme development is a required skill;

• WordPress Theme Development - Experience building WordPress themes from scratch, including a good understanding of WordPress template structure, and PHP foundations;

• WordPress Blocks Development - The new admin editor (as known as Gutenberg) is now a reality for most custom WordPress builds, so having experience building custom blocks will also be considered a plus;

• Webpack - As part of the workflow for modern Javascript codebases, having an understanding of how to use the module bundler;

Personal skills:

• Good communication skills and team spirit;

• High sense of responsibility and accuracy in performing tasks;

• Capacity for analysis, initiative and pro-activity;
