Workplace Options have an exciting opportunity for a Services Product Manager to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. The Services Product Manager is a key member of the Product Development team. This position reports to the Director of Product Development. The Services Product Manager is responsible for managing service-based products including the new development and improvements, dictating and project managing to a development timeline, estimating cost, and providing product support to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and effectively communicate the status of products under their care.

  • Actively provide recommendations to improve products and the processes related to them.

  • Verbally present proposed and forthcoming development to stakeholders, facilitate robust and honest discussion, conduct helpful question and answer discussions.

  • Provide product presentations and key information with internal and external customers.

  • Provide support for transactional and day-to-day relationships with vendors.

  • Conduct ongoing research and competitive analysis.

  • Conduct user centred research to improve/enhance processes and features.

  • Perform cost/benefit analysis for assigned projects.

  • Translate research findings into actionable, prioritized recommendations.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company process and policy requirements.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders such as Proposals, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Implementation, Service Delivery, and Reporting.

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and meetings to elicit business requirements.

  • Prepare all work and design in a way that benefits the business.

  • Facilitate working meetings as needed to drive project completion.

  • Implement problem solving skills to facilitate shared understanding, possible solutions to problems, and help determine project scope.

  • Mitigate risk by assessing downstream impact and addressing the risk proactively.

  • Document business requirements and changes clearly and concisely.

  • Provide weekly project updates to the Director of Product Development.

  • Support the Director of Product Development as required.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese.
  • Project management skills sufficient to bring a product or feature from idea to release.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to listen effectively and present information to assure understanding in different formats to varied audiences, as well as write clearly and succinctly for a variety of audiences and purposes.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Ability to understand written and verbal communication in French preferred. Experience coordinating projects directly with clients.
  • Flexibility. Comfort working a flexible schedule to allow for collaboration with departments across multiple time zones.

Creative problem solving with ability to remember similar resolutions and problems and think outside the box to assist staff and clients. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment, and be flexible to scope and breadth of work.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize to react with the appropriate level of urgency to issues desired. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once.
  • Process and detail oriented; ability to define and follow clear and concise guidelines.

  • Proficiency with and skill with Microsoft Office required.

  • Proficiency with Teams appreciated.
