You will be part of a Data Team surrounded by tech experienced members who are passionate about technology. You will be working and collaborating closely with the data Scientist, BI Developer, data Engineer etc. in providing consulting services for data products and technical solutions for clients. We are based in Sydney, Australia and Lisbon, Portugal and are currently hiring for our Lisbon team.

Database developer

What you'll be doing /

-Design and implement a database in accordance to end users' information needs and views;

-Defines users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner;

-Provide proactive and reactive data management support;

-Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.

-Provide guidance and support to Application Developers

-Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning

-Process work accurately and in a timely manner

-Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements

-Collate, prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use

What you'll need /

-Bachelor's degree in the IT area or equivalent;

-Previous experience working as a Database Administrator;

-Experience with SQL Server or MySQL;

-Experience integrating external data sources;

-Familiarity with programming languages API;

-Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS;

-Good communication in English (written and spoken).

-Experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud

-Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)

-Experience working with Devops pipeline, preferably Azure DevOps

-Ability to work independently and proactively.
