The Signify Global Brand & Digital Marketing team consists of 7 global teams that closely work together to bring value to our markets, consumers and customers: Marketing Programs & Campaigns, Brand, Digital Experience & Platforms, Marketing insights & performance, Content House, Global Media and Agencies and the Digital Acceleration team. All teams support the key lighting brands Philips (Philips Hue, Philips lighting for consumers and professionals), Signify, Interact, Wiz and many more.

What you?ll do


As Head of Content Factory you report into the Global Head of Digital Marketing of Signify, who reports directly into the CMO & Head of Strategy. With 6 direct reports and a total global team of 57fte you are responsible for building, implementing and scaling the Signify Content Factory, providing all marketing assets (creative & hygiene) for all B2C and B2B Marketing & Communication activities in a cost and effective way, with a mindset of digital first.


  • Build, implement and scale the Signify Content Factory, providing all marketing assets (creative & hygiene) for all B2C and B2B Marketing & Communication activities in a cost and effective way, with a mindset of digital first.


  • Be accountable for the Content Strategy, developed by the content strategist from ideation through planning and creating to publishing and scaling the whole process. Own content strategy across channels including process and governance, performance, and message mapping

  • Create a scalable, global content creation operation from A-Z: develop and implement closed-loop automated processes to design, deploy and operate offline and online content at scale across multi-vendor, multi-domain and multi-technology environments with a mindset of digital first.

  • Be accountable for the Publication of marketing assets through an asset library, optimizing tagging and search.

  • Manage a team of content experts both in-house & outsource (freelancers and agencies), and lead all the strategic and tactical aspects of the company's owned Content efforts.

  • Define global content standards and best practices for excellence in creation, production and delivery of content and ensure its governance.

  • Oversee contract agreements for production vendors and ensuring obligations are met and future agreements are improved for cost efficiency and favorability for Signify.

  • Track development of all creative content assets, including photography, videos, image crops, copy, banners, emails, social media, event, ecommerce site, and special assets from inception through production and delivery


Your qualifications


  • A good understanding of AI and content automation and automized content publication.

  • ~10 years of experience in creative operations management either from within an agency or brand environment. You are an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and trans-creation, analytics and meaningful measurement.

  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills and ideally experience conducting internal change management/process improvement sessions. Fluency in English is a must.

  • Experience implementing process changes and setting strategic goals

  • Experience with handling multiple stakeholders and functions across a large organization

  • A clear understanding and vision of how content should be utilized for marketing purposes, from both brand and performance perspective.

  • A good understanding of new trends in content and technology in the video production community and suggests new ways to implement these trends/technologies.

  • A rich portfolio of content-led activities from ideation through planning to execution.

  • A good understanding of how content performance should be measured (KPI oriented)

  • High operation, planning & production skills and has experience in working with a DAM

  • Have a proactive and positive attitude and can motivate, mentor and inspire a team of cross functional, creative professionals to deliver the highest quality creative assets.

  • Are a self-directed multitasker accustomed to meeting tight deadlines.

  • Are able to prioritize a varied workload to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
