The role of a graphic designer with Mamma Marketing

The job for now is to work 20-30 hours per week, which will turn into 40 hours in the near future. It will begin with two trial assignments. If successful, this is a long term opportunity with so much room for you to grow with a fast growing team.

You?ll first work on designing websites for web developers to build on wordpress. There are other parts to the graphic design role such as design tasks for social media, logo design, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns and more. However, for the first month or so, the role will be mainly designing websites.

We?re a great big helpful team and always learning new things from each other. We believe that everyone has something to share and teach the rest of the team, whether it?s a different outlook, opinion, content idea, idea for a brand, a more creative way to use social media for a certain culture, different phrases in the language(s) you speak and so on.

We're looking for a graphic designer who is energetic, creative, open to critique and is a hardworking person.

• Graphic designers should be able to take critique from team members and our clients in order to continuously improve the work we present and to develop the brands we are working with.

• Graphic designers create and edit a wide range of designs for marketing campaigns, social media platforms, sales material and for a variety of other reasons. You?ll be creating designs for clients and our own projects.

• Between our clients and our own projects, there are a variety of designs to be made for different audiences. You will never be bored...

• You?ll be working with the other designers and the marketing team on various tasks such as email marketing campaigns, design critique for videos, material for presentations and then designing websites for developers to build.

• Graphic designers will also be involved in brainstorming with our marketing teams on how we can improve marketing campaigns based on open rates, click through rates and other tracking tools we use to analyse the results of ongoing campaigns.

• We help you develop these designs by giving critique at each draft made until it?s a finished product. Once it is live, whether it?s a website, ad campaign or a video, we track the user actions with certain software which gives a big insight into how we can further improve and tweak the user experience and/or designs, based on those user actions.

• You'll be actively researching evolving trends in styles of websites, videos, email templates, landing page designs, different effects, video advertising strategies, video marketing strategies and much, much more. We are working on a variety of different projects so you won?t be only working on one industry, you?ll be learning about several different industries.

• We're continuously brainstorming and coming up with sales and marketing ideas for various projects, internal and for clients. We always encourage creativity and new ideas!

Responsibilities and Requirements of Successful Applicants:

• The Successful applicant will be a self motivated, hard working, friendly and well rounded individual ready to represent our expanding company in the best way possible.

• The successful applicant will have a good level of English to communicate with the team. There are people who joined our team with a basic level of English and after a few months, their confidence grew while massively improving in speaking, reading, listening and writing in English.

Communication & Organisation

We communicate during the day using Slack, email, phone calls, and video calls.

We have an organised and efficient system yet we're flexible and always open to new ideas on improving our system.

We're always learning how to develop our systems, managing projects and how to carry out tasks, with the goal of working together more effectively and enjoying what we do.

We encourage learning from our own or other people's mistakes.

Payment

The salary depends on your output, quality of work and experience.

If successful with the trial, we pay at the end of each week for the first month, and then bi-weekly in month two.
