Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

The Technical Writer is responsible for the development and execution of customer-facing, pre-sale communications, sales collateral as well as internal communication. As such, the professional in question writes editorials, articles for magazines and newsletters, application notes, case studies, press releases, and online content. The duties include significant repurposing of existing content, writing of new content for web and social media as well as proofreading of content. The technical writer works in close cooperation with product management, marketing communications, application, sales and service to ensure quality and relevance of his work.

Create text and basic layout for identified marketing projects. This includes:

• lab reports and application notes
• 
  journal editorials and articles
• 
  product and technology descriptions
• 
  advertisement and flyers
• 
  customer-facing newsletters
• 
  social media posts
• 
  video storylines

Develop and edit content for corporate web page, micro sites and 3rd party portals. Help with search engine marketing and search engine optimization programs.

Engage with internal team and customers to develop an in-depth understanding of the benefits of the products and create concise case studies and engaging success stories.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Writing, English, Communications or technical field (Material research, Chemical, Life Sciences)

  Ideally 5 years of experience in a corporate environment (3 years with a Master's degree)
• 
  Must have extremely strong written communication skills, with advanced knowledge of the English language including grammar practices and style guide usage
• 
  Must be able to condense complex information to engaging stories and visuals
• 
  Must have strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
• 
  Must have proven ability to handle multiple competing tasks and meet deadlines
• 
  Online marketing experience preferred
• 
  Needs experience in Adobe InDesign for layout and Content Management System
• 
  Experience in Marketing Automation, online meeting platforms and the use of photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts that increase users? understanding are an additional plus
