Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Global Data Management governs the global key data domains of the company. Monitor and orchestrate the end-to-end flow of data, identify breaches and address corrective measures to ensure high data quality. Gather and analyze data demands and design solutions for new information requirements considering quality, security integrity safety and availability aspects. Define and establish standards, policies, and guidelines for the data domains adidas-wide. Consult, support, and drive change management in all relevant projects and initiatives. Own the Corporate Data Model to ensure data structure consistency across the system landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Management

Applies ethical and robust techniques in the transformation of data from one format/medium to another, in line with organizational policies and procedures and being sensitive to risks around the use of information.

Information Governance

Ensures implementation of information and records management policies and standard practice.

Ensures effective controls are in place for internal delegation, audit and control relating to information and records management.

Assesses and manages risks around the use of information.

Provides reports on the consolidated status of information controls to inform effective decision making.

Recommends remediation actions as required. Ensures that information is presented effectively.

Portfolio, Program and Project Support

Takes responsibility for the provision of support services to projects.

Uses and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects.

Sets up and provides detailed guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.

Supports program or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.

Provides basic guidance on individual project proposals.

May be involved in aspects of supporting a program by providing a cross program view on risk, change, quality, finance or configuration management.

Business Analysis

Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organization.

Assists in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations.

Data Visualization

Applies a of variety visualization techniques and designs the content and appearance of data visuals.

Operationalizes and automates activities for efficient and timely production of data visuals.

Selects appropriate visualization approach from a range of applicable options.

Contributes to exploration and experimentation in data visualization.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficient spoken and written command of English

At least 5-year experience in IT

2 years of experience in relevant area

1 year of experience in team management

Understanding of different culture

Participated in projects with people from other functions/markets
