The Procurement activity at Group Strategic Sourcing (at Group and Entity level) supports the Entities of BNP Paribas Group in the process of buying goods and services to get the best combination of quality, cost, risks and delivery time. Its mandate covers all the Group external expenses. The Procurement activity of BNP Paribas Group's main tasks are to meet the needs of the businesses/entities in terms of external spending while ensuring the best cost-quality-time for the Group, optimizing these external costs and guarantee the security of the supplier relationship.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Within Group Strategic Sourcing Services, you will integrate the Transformation & Organisation department, that is responsible for supporting the management of the Portuguese center, and for running projects that impact the organisation, namely through the integration of new activities.


As a trainee in this department, you will support the management in the build-up of GS2S and contribute in the implementation of projects. To achieve this, you will:


  • Participate in the implementation of the new projects in the organization;

  • Support the implementation of the new internal processes;

  • Partner with Project Managers to support the development of GS2S organisation

  • Verify and monitor that the documentation is updated and in line with the applied processes;

  • Collect and present data needed to manage consolidated dashboards (KPI and others reporting);

  • Support local initiatives via projects with all people involved (definition and follow-up of the plan, actions and resources?)

  • Contribute to transversal support activities of GS2S;


PROFILE


  • Bachelor?s degree, or higher qualifications, in Finance, Business Management, Economics or similar

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is mandatory

  • Quick self-starter, with proactive attitude and an accountable sense of autonomy

  • Organizational skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to work with international locations

  • Strong team spirit

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to respect priorities

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Fluent in English (minimum B2 Level, CECRL certificate), French is a plus
