ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are offering a 4 to 6 months internship for a student interested in programming and excited about delivering a solution to a real life problem.

GMQR has been developing a grid-based testing framework to continuously perform high-volumes of regression testing on a set of evolving analytics. This involves building tools to manage the grid, detect problems with a component of the grid, and help developers identify faster when their code changes caused regressions. The intern?s objective is to improve the visualization layer of the framework. To achieve it, he/she may have to work within the testing framework itself. The main goals are to improve traceability of what happened to a run, enhance detection and reporting of the impacts of the changes of a single code change / of a parameter change / of a test change and work on a better UI/UX on the website. The code is fully written in Python. We are using PosgresSql databases, S3 instances to store log/txt files and the viewer is a small flask application.
