We're currently looking for a Director of Product for our Motors Vertical, at OLX Group! As part of the product team, you will be responsible for looking at the Motors product landscape and ensuring a comprehensive look and feel of its core experience. Your product catalogue will span from a highly monetising vertical to those that need love and care with a high level of user love.

We?re looking for a product visionary - someone who can take our vision for a more sustainable and collaborative world and translate it into a visually stunning and user captivating product, with mobile always at the forefront of everything. As our product starts to take shape into its next iterations, you?ll be in charge of taking the next steps while adapting to our users' focus and interests.

What you will be doing:

• Managing the Motors product experience and leading a team of experienced product managers. Must have proven extensive experience leading a product team across web and mobile products with international exposure;
  
• Must be comfortable with reviewing specifications, working across multi-disciplinary teams: design, engineering, marketing and sales to launch core features;
  
• Formulate product strategies and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals;
  
• Provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrate how that analysis impacts key product metrics;
  
• Manage prioritisation and trade-offs among customer experience, technical constraints and business drivers;
  
• Develop a deep understanding of our users: their problems, their needs, their desires;
  
• Proven success developing and managing product go-to-market plans, with responsibility for revenue;
  
• Strong proven business skills to manage a product that provides strong data based ROI for internal and external customers (and partners where appropriate);
  
• Critical thinking including identifying of risks, weaknesses and difficulties;
  
• Lead our product teams through influence and collaboration;
  
• Collaborate to generate ideas, to drive alignment and to get things done;
  
• Ability to communicate vision, plans and roadmaps to anyone from an engineer to a high-level executive, both visually and in writing;
  
• Measures success in user constituency, user feedback and business performance with hard KPI?s;
  
• Ships our product with clear target measurable impacts, and plan for how to measure with quality ? always open to unexpected challenges and opportunities;
  
• Demonstrated ability to work with large quantities of information, delivering data-driven solutions;
  
• Game changing thinking and innovative problem solver that can turn ambiguous problem spaces into clear solutions;
  

Who we?re looking for:

• Extensive and proven experience in product management for multiple international products both in ecommerce merchant marketplaces, on mobile and web development.
  
• Strong, demonstrated focus on outcomes with proven experience making product teams successful
  
• Sufficient competence as a technologist to understand technology opportunities and constraints while also possessing the ability to talk/understand the language of engineering
  
• Previous long term experience in an ecommerce or other customer facing product.
  
• Software Engineering background is a strong plus.
