We're looking for a motivated and driven Data Scientist (m/f/d) to join our Marketing Intelligence & Automation team. In this role, you will closely work together with all our Marketing, Yield, Pricing, IT and Reporting teams to assure that system developments reflect Marketing Managers' needs and are optimized continuously with findings and ideas from Web economics science and your research.

Your Tasks ? Paint the world green

• You develop advanced models and analytics together with our revenue management teams to optimize our pricing strategies


• You continuously enhance and steer the process of automated customer acquisition through data insights and data-driven decision making


• You improve our current incrementality analysis developments and experiments, and make the best use of the knowledge gained


• You keep an overview of our revenue management automation systems and implementation details and integrate our customer acquisition models to ensure best economic outcome for our customers and us

Your Profile ? Ready to hop on board

• An advanced degree in applied math, physics, econometrics, statistics, or a related, quantitative science, preferably with postgraduate in operation research. A PhD would be considered a strong plus


• Strong commercial experience and evidence of improving business performance, and the ability to interpret and communicate actionable findings to senior management


• Having leadership mentality and being a team player, including the ability to provide vision, strategic thought, and motivation


• A proven track record of applying complex mathematical, statistical and machine learning models to tackle practical business problems


• Experience in implementing algorithms and data structures in Python, Scala, or other mainstream programming language


• Experience with algorithm design and implementation as well as model optimization


• Understanding of modern software development techniques is a must in combination with strong data access and management capabilities, knowledge of version control tools. You need to understand the importance of reproducibility and interpretability.
