Market Specialist for Corporate Actions Full-time

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Activity Management


    • Ensure all incoming market details or client instructions is processed while meeting standards established by the bank and the team?s procedures


    • Guarantee the 4-eyes checking principle is applied whenever it has been deemed necessary without any form exception


  • Manage an efficient line of communication with clients and service partners through daily interaction and/or portfolio management


    • Manage all incoming queries and pro-active communications sent to client


    • Assist with queries as soon as possible, provide initial acknowledgement within the determined deadline and issue quality service based on established criteria


    • Provide accurate and detailed information to clients and service partners pertaining to Corporate Action and Income events


    • Log all queries and client service requests in the correct tools to allow statistical analysis of activity


    • Guarantee that clients and other supporting teams can be put in contact when necessary


    • Update client details in all necessary tools and contact list databases


  • Contribute positively to risk management, compliance and quality service delivery by guaranteeing all operational and transversal procedures are respected:


    • Ensure the Service Level Agreement & Service Level Delivery is respected by working towards avoiding delays, reporting and prioritising during activity peaks and requesting and providing help from/to other teams


    • Prevent any breach of confidentiality when sending sensitive or clients? related data to an external party in line with the GDPR guidelines


    • Guarantee that procedures are updated on an ongoing basis, taking into account market, service and product changes and/or potential risk factors


    • Ensure every procedure is respected according to the BNP Paribas Code of conduct


    • Identify and report cases of SLA, SLD, Internal Procedure and/or best practices not being applied, independently of whether they caused an incident or not, contributing to the improvement of client service and satisfaction

    • Identify and report anomalies and consequent action plan with eventual impacted departments, in a pro-active and quick manner to supervision


    • Complete every assigned training session on compliance, conduct or any other topic within the established deadline


  • Contribute to the evaluation & improvement of the quality of the service provided:


    • Propose & define projects for improving service and communicate them to management for approval


    • Be active in the continuous improvement of the team's processes and participate in User Acceptance Testing in order to contribute to system upgrades and its development


    • Contribute to the improvement of service delivery and client satisfaction by questioning standing processes whenever applicable and raising awareness to trends in service culture


    • Develop knowledge of existing markets, their changes and financial instruments by making regular use of available information sources (Market Updates, Client Updates, market announcements)


PROFILE


  • Available for a fixed-term contract of 6 months


  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or Management would be a plus


  • Advanced level of English
