Distribution Developer Manager Full-time

The FX Payments activity is a key area of growth for Global Markets. In order to support and accelerate that growth an electronic platform (FX+) has been designed. FX+ is delivering automated FX solutions to support other BNPP business lines such as Cash Management, Trade Finance, Correspondent Banking, who require FX to deliver transactional services to their clients.


  • FX+ Payments is a platform that manages the execution of FX within International Payments
    (i.e. Payment + FX in one transaction).

  • FX+ is successfully implemented in ca 40 countries across Europe, MEA, APAC and North America ; it is globally generating a very significant stream of revenues for BNP Paribas

  • FX+ aims to strengthen the BNPP FX electronic offer: Enrich the transaction banking offer (pricing flexibility, extend currency coverage ?) with a better FX execution (transparency, automation of processes, 24/7 service, ...)

  • Within this context, FX+ drives the cross selling with new Business lines (Cash Management, Trade or Supply Chain) and Third parties (Retailers, Payment Service Providers?) through a complete and integrated FX+ Product suite, involving innovative Open Banking API solutions.


The FX+ Platform development and the FX Payments marketing are part of the Global Markets eCommerce & Digital (eC&D) team, which is globally responsible for driving the digital strategy and associated transformation across the Global Markets business lines.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The ?Experienced FX+ Distribution Developer? develops a sustainable FX revenue stream for EMEA leveraging the origination from ?Transaction Banking Businesses? across the BNPP Group.


  • Market the FX+ Payments services to the Corporates in EMEA (leveraging the Group TB origination)

  • Deliver EMEA P&L revenue objectives


The ?Experienced FX+ Distribution Developer? operates with limited supervision from line management with a responsibility to report and escalate.


  • Management of a junior Distribution resource. The responsibility involves but not limited to:

    • Ensuring the teams achieve their quantitative and qualitative targets.
    • Training and mentoring the team, ensuring innovation is stimulated.
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory trainings and procedures.

    • Perform regularly the appraisal of the team and discuss team compensation with management.

  • Transversal coordination of Transaction Banking, Domestic Markets and International Retail Banking teams to originate FX on Payment

  • Market the FX+ Payments services to the Corporates in EMEA (leveraging the Group TB origination):
    • Directly attend sales presentation / pitches for top end Corporates opportunities

    • Indirectly leveraging Transaction Banking / Domestic Markets / International Retail Banking sales and coverage (main model)

  • Drive & Support the overall sales effort:
    • Deliver targeted FX+ Solutions with Transaction Banking as clients trusted advisor

    • Contribute to Transaction Banking RFPs

    • Customise the offer to specific client requests when required (product features, pricing?)

    • Structure and coordinate sales campaigns in particular towards MNCs in order to foster X-region origination and global mandates
    • Organize / join client and market events

    • Produce marketing collaterals (internal and external FX Payment pitch, RFP building blocks?)

  • Develop FX DNA in TB / DM / IRB / Coverage (Training, KPIs?)

  • Leverage Data Intelligence (private and public) to identify / push opportunity alert to sales and feed targeted marketing campaigns

  • Deliver P&L revenues objectives for CIB EMEA

PROFILE


  • Substantial experience in a similar role

  • Expert experience in defining and sponsoring projects and project management, in relation to Global Markets and Transaction Banking: business case and scoping study, management of the delivery along with Business Lines / IT / Operations

  • Proven track record and the ability to manage/develop a team
