ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The Paris Account Desk Officer will be part of the Institutional Investors team, which is dedicated to Asset Managers, Asset Owners and some Corporate Clients that are booked in the Paris location. The main service provided to these client categories is Global Custody.


Explains and collects the necessary documentation to comply with BP2S account opening policy (Account Opening Form / Cash Account Agreement / USD Compliance Form / Power of Attorney / Authorized Signatories Lists...) during the onboarding stage


  • Explains and collects the necessary documentation to comply with BP2S account opening policy (Account Opening Form / Cash Account Agreement / USD Compliance Form / Power of Attorney / Authorized Signatories Lists...) during the onboarding stage

  • Manages Clients requests with the different relevant teams (Relationship Manager, Client Service Manager, Network Teams, Client Admin, Account Referential...). In this framework, the Account Desk Officer can have a project management role within his scope of responsibility.

  • Explains to clients how their accounts are operating, ensuring that the services delivered are aligned with the Service Level Agreements (SLA). In this framework, the Account Desk Officer can participate in Client follow-up meetings (transversal or dedicated to specific topics (ex: Tax, Settlement, Custody?)

  • Creates a strong understanding of the clients? needs throughout operations and across the business according to BP2S quality requirements


PROFILE


  • Previous work experience (at least 1 year) in Global/Local Custody & Settlement environment, preferably in a client facing role;

  • Knowledge of Client onboarding processes; knowledge of account opening requirements in local markets will be considered as a plus

  • Ability to strike the right balance between client service and the need to comply with risk-avoiding procedures

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize a set of issues and put forward recommendations

  • Capacity to communicate effectively with clients

  • Ability to deal with diverse levels of seniority (clients and business partners)

  • Must be able to get to the ?bottom? of issues and challenge assumptions

  • Ability to modify work practices to respond to an ever changing environment

  • Easily adaptable and capable of dealing with change

  • Proficient English & French is mandatory
