As a Marketing Specialist
, what are you going to do?



  • Bottom-line responsibility for executing and reporting on marketing plans aligned to the company?s Events & PR strategy;

  • Support implementation of Vision-Box Tradeshows and Events plan and ensure successful end-to-end visitor experience to our events (physical and virtual);

  • Identify external opportunities that help disseminate Vision-Box?s value proposition across the company?s key segments;

  • Work across the organization with internal stakeholders, including sales, strategic partnerships, product and business consulting to coordinate project implementation and execution of deliverables on key activities in the Vision-Box calendar;

  • Conduct pre-activity briefings and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes, based on pre-defined KPIs;

  • Plan, implement and manage public relations programs, including management of external PR and public affairs agencies under the direction of Events & PR manager;

  • Ensure activities are conducted on time and on budget;

  • Integrate the full range of online marketing tactics, including social media, SEM, content marketing into event & PR plans, as applicable, by integrating with other functional leaders in Marketing & Communications;

  • Undertake detailed analysis of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations to Events & PR manager and the Head of Marketing & Communications.


What are the skills and professional experience we?re expecting from you?



  • Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, events management or similar areas;

  • 3 to 4 years of proven experience in event marketing & planning, ideally in a related industry;

  • Relevant demonstrable experience of having previously managed events and PR/communications;

  • Demonstrable ability to coordinate multiple projects and work assignments independently in a fast-paced environment;

  • Ability to anticipate project needs and risks, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision;

  • Understanding of marketing, communication and event management principles, including digital strategies;

  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English;

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: a true team-player, creative problem-solver and effective decision maker;

  • Knowledge of Project Management tools (nice to have);

  • Experience in content writing and editing (nice to have);

  • Experience working in a cross functional marketing and communications team environment (nice to have);

  • Ability to excel in solo assignments, as well as together with a very dynamic team (nice to have).
