Too Good To Go is the world's number 1 app for fighting food waste. We reduce food waste by making surplus food from any food stores available to citizens. The magic of Too Good To Go has been spreading rapidly across Europe, with over 80 thousand meals saved just in Portugal!

We?re growing fast with 15 countries currently active and more coming, and we?ve just been named ?Europe?s hottest startup 2019?. But here?s what really matters: through our app, we have more than 22 million users, we?ve saved more than 42 million meals from the bin - that?s more than 103.000 tons of CO2 saved!

Your mission:
We?re looking for the perfect Waste Warrior to join our team and support our Marketing team in Portugal. As a marketplace, our marketing team is responsible for attracting users (each of us) and partners (any food business you can imagine) so that together, we save as much food as possible. The goal of this position is to build a plan to attract as many users AND businesses as possible - building targeted campaigns and follow them from idea to execution and evaluation.

Key responsibilities:
  • As our Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing B2C and B2B campaigns, contributing to projects that drive acquisition, retention and growth of both users and partners.

  • You will be responsible for B2B lead generation, setting up and handling strategic and long term partnerships, and other growth opportunities.

  • You will lead B2B event projects.

  • You will support the CRM communication and be the guardian of our user?s journey, overlooking all the steps of the marketing funnel, working in close collaboration with the local and the global marketing team.

  • You will be working closely with the Sales and Success team - managing all communication requests coming from both sides.

  • You?ll be part of an outstanding local team working closely with our Social Media and PR Manager creating added value to our communication towards our audience.

  • All in all, you will be one of the key figures for building the Too Good To Go brand among consumers and businesses.

What we are looking for:
  • Perfect command of Portuguese (mother-tongue) and English.

  • Around 2 years of experience in marketing with proven experience in campaigns that drive sales growth (paid digital, events, partnerships and affiliation) and a clear vision about the user lifecycle and how to improve it through CRM, preferably within the food and drink industry.

  • Experience creating partnership presentations to a high standard.

  • Being truly passionate about food waste and sustainability is a must.

  • Having a clear, structured marketing mind - able to handle projects in a timely and organized way. It may sound as a cliché but? yes, you have to be great at multitasking.

  • Great communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • A self-starter and problem solver. You?d like to discover answers rather than waiting for instructions.

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.

  • Ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done even if it?s sometimes not part of your job.

  • Experience with Salesforce to nurture, track and report on lead conversions is a plus.
