Continuous improvement of the quality and integrity of information produced and used at BNP Paribas is a major strategic objective for the Group.


In this context, the RaDAR Programme has initiated a dedicated stream to define and implement a ?Roles and Responsibilities? target framework and promote a ?Know Your Data? (KYD) culture to be shared across all of the Group?s teams, primarily in Divisions (and Business Lines) and Operational Entities.


This Data Quality Management approach throughout the Group will be supported by the implementation of a Data Management Tool.


Role and Responsabilities


  • Each Division and Business Line must explicit the following data quality, integrity and protection responsibility for Data Quality Analysts:

    • Be responsible for remediation and correction actions

    • Identify data quality, integrity and protection issues, report and escalate issues / alerts to their Managers and appropriate stakeholders in the chain

    • Contribute to the continuous improvement process of data quality, integrity and protection in their scopes

    • Contribute to the remediation processes

  • Ensure the awareness of data in his/her scope

    • Own the technical expertise and data flow knowledge

    • Provide and spread the data knowledge across players in their scopes
  • Design a data quality, integrity and protection dashboard

    • Design for their scope a data quality, integrity and protection dashboard and set its periodicity, granularity and distribution

  • Perform data quality, integrity and protection controls in a continuous mode

    • Participate in performing data quality, integrity and protection controls in a continuos mode

    • The "Data Quality Analysts" perform 3 types of control: Basic (simple checks), Cross-checks (consistency checks) and Data Profiling (collection of the different data sources, calculation statistics and metrics

Interact with their Managers on activities related on management of data quality, integrity and protection and help them to give visibility about significant issues/actions to CDO and DCiO.

    • Back-Office: relationship with the closing team

    • IT: relationship with Business Analyst for Operation Systems perimeter

PROFILE

  • Academic background in finance, economics, accounting or similar;

  • Experience in Banking/Financial operations (plus)

  • Fluency in English is mandatory

  • French knowledge is a plus

  • Good communication and analytical skills

  • Ms Office Package knowledge
