BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Bank is running a long established lean transformation program. The core objectives of the programme are:

Improve our external/internal customer service and

Improve working conditions to form a more flexible and more competitive group with improved morale

Provide a step-change in operational performance

Develop and deploy best practice managerial skills

Provide a transformational experience for those on the programme

Leave in place a continuous improvement culture

Design organizational / operational improvements on specific strategic programs using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Support the business efficiency efforts by creating and supporting the right governance model

Understand the business key strategic needs and support the continuous improvements teams by defining and framing the right tools and methodologies

Own the transformation for specific dimensions, taking the lead in facilitating improvements in that area

Evolve the toolsets and best practices and contribute to the development of the overall lean team

Within the project frame is accountable for meeting project deadlines and budgets and reaching projects? expected results


Minimum of 8 years of experience in leading and coaching Lean and Six Sigma initiatives (mandatory)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Lean Six Sigma and/or Continuous Improvement teams in a Services environment

Experience in Project Management (mandatory)

Six Sigma Black belt Certification (preferable)

Lean or Six Sigma Training (mandatory)

Fluent in English (mandatory)

People oriented and strong ability to listen, take on board feedback and act on it

Positive and enthusiastic team player in an international environment

Analytical and thorough with good problem-solving skills

Strong leadership with ability to mobilize and gain adhesion of project stakeholders to a vision

Able to drive meetings towards success

Pragmatic with strong capacity

to draw the line between important and secondary matters and switch between macroscopic and detailed issues permanently

Able to work cross-functionally, interfacing well with all management to help them change

Willing and able to seek new opportunities and help build and support a high value pipeline of work
