Delivery Manager Portugal Full-time

The Country Delivery Manager, reporting to the Regional Delivery Operations Manger is responsible for execution of all deliveries within their area of responsibility. This person will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of deliveries to adhere to the defined KPI?s including but not exclusive to customer satisfaction, yield and turnaround time. The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that the locations in the country of responsibility are operationally effective and efficient. The role will need to work cross functionality with service, logistics, sales, admin and manufacturing teams to ensure all cars are delivered in a timely manner whilst ensuring the highest levels of customer service are achieved at all times. This person will also be responsible in mentoring Area manager(s), Operations teams and Delivery Experience Specialists to help achieve the business goals and ensure that staff needs are met.

Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily delivery operations including but not limited to customer satisfaction, yield, turn around time and revenue recognition

  • Assist in the planning, implementation and follow up of the countries operational tasks and projects

  • Support the Regional Delivery Operations Manager in recruitment and interviewing of candidates

  • Work collaboratively with other departments especially Service, Logistics, Inside Delivery and Sales

  • Represent Tesla in a professional and responsibly manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the company

  • Maintain constant focus on improving the Tesla Delivery Experience to maximize customer experience

  • Assist in training and coaching staff to consistently perform to company standards and achieve efficient and timely deliveries

  • Act as an escalation point proactively mediating and resolving customer concerns

  • Manage delivery Calendars, scheduled volumes and co-ordinate daily delivery operations using reports and software to support

  • Play a fundamental role in preparing the business for future growth and plans


Requirements


  • Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent required, plus, 2-4 years? work experience in sales and operations.

  • Demonstrate an ability to successful manage a large team of people from coaching to performance management

  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines.

  • Proven ability to problem solve and achieve results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and communicate relevant information across all levels of the organization.

  • Consistent record of customer service excellence.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license and an acceptable and safe driving record.
  • Must have a minimum two years of driving experience.

  • Must be Portuguese speaker.
